In February 2024, and for the fourth consecutive year, Forbes recognized Robert Half as one of America’s Best Large Employers — and the top-ranked staffing firm for the third year in a row.

The annual ranking is based on an independent survey of approximately 170,000 participants from a wide range of companies with 1,000 or more employees in the U.S. Respondents were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their employer to friends and family, as well as other factors such as working conditions, potential for advancement and company image.

“It’s always an honor to be named as the leading staffing firm on this prestigious list,” said M. Keith Waddell, president and chief executive officer at Robert Half. “The recognition is especially meaningful, as it’s determined by those who know our company best: our employees. Their passion for and commitment to our purpose and values are what set us apart and make Robert Half a great place to work.”

Robert Half Also Ranks Among World’s Best Employers

In October 2023, Forbes named Robert Half one of the World’s Best Employers. This is Forbes’ most prestigious global employer accolade.

The annual list is based on an independent survey of nearly 170,000 employees in over 50 countries. Respondents rate their employers in various areas, including  talent development, remote working options, parental leave benefits, diversity, work-life balance and pride in the product or services the company offers.

A strong focus on creating a world-class employee experience

Our reputation as an ethical employer dates back more than 70 years, when Bob and Maxine Half founded the company. In the 1960s, Bob Half helped lead the fight against discriminatory employment practices. Since then, we’ve been setting the standard for employee satisfaction in several key areas:

Gender equality

In January 2023, for the fifth consecutive year, Robert Half and our subsidiary and global consulting firm, Protiviti, were named to the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI). The index tracks the performance of companies around the world committed to supporting gender equality through policy development, representation and transparency.

Also, in July 2022, Forbes named Robert Half as one of the Best Employers for Women for the fourth consecutive year.

Through the Global Women’s Employee Network (GWEN) and other initiatives, we’re committed to amplifying women’s voices while creating community and growth opportunities for them at every level.

Job advancement

We’re passionate about helping our professionals achieve their career goals. To that end, every employee has easy access to in-person and online training courses, giving them the resources they need to grow personally and professionally.

Diversity, equity and inclusion

Everyone is welcome at Robert Half. We believe that hiring underrepresented workers with different perspectives makes us stronger as a business and an employer.

In 2024, Robert Half and Protiviti achieved top scores of 100 on the Disability Equality Index®, earning the distinction of being a 2024 Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.

In April 2023, Robert Half was named one of Forbes’ Best Employers for Diversity for the fifth consecutive year. Companies selected for the list are recognized for inclusion efforts related to age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation equality and general diversity, as well as feedback from an independent survey.

Corporate citizenship

Ethics matter. A recent Robert Half survey found that 71% of employees would leave a company whose values didn’t align with their own. Our commitment to environmental, social and governance best practices empowers our professionals to be change-makers and advocates for the communities we serve.

In 2024, we were recognized on TIME’s inaugural list of America's Best Midsize Companies. This accolade acknowledges our exceptional performance in three crucial areas: employee satisfaction, revenue growth and sustainability transparency.
