AI Architect Job Description

AI architects apply artificial intelligence (AI) to a company’s existing IT infrastructure and business processes. These professionals must have deep knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing concepts. AI architects must also understand AI integration and AI application programming. A master’s degree in computer science, data science or AI is usually a minimum requirement for this role. Previous experience as an AI engineer is highly valued, and many employers look for candidates with expertise in big data, analytics and data science. This management position also requires change management skills, and strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication and collaborative abilities. Familiarity with Agile software development practices and microservices is often a plus.
